Remember what I said last week about the season so far, and Garret Dillahunt in particular, making me queasy? Yeah, that feeling isn’t going anywhere. In this week’s episode, “Noblesse Oblige,” directed by Peter Weller, we find out exactly who Ty works for, while Rachel rides shotgun with Raylan chasing leads around Harlan. Ava and Boyd reconnect, and come face to face with Harlan’s newest big bad.
Also look for:
- Ava to have a really badly-timed meeting with Vasquez, and make an executive decision that backfires.
- Boyd to meet Ty, and not take him seriously, and have that backfire.
- Raylan’s investigation to intersect with Boyd’s crew and not yield the arrest he was hoping for.
- Rachel to repeat Art’s warning that Raylan may be in over his head on this.
- A (really) revealing look at Wynn Duffy.
- A telling bit of insight into how Katherine operates.
There are a couple of nailbiter moments, and a couple of surprises (although not really if you’ve connected the dots so far). No Gutterson this week, though. Boo! Each episode makes me realize how much I’m going to miss this crew. With this one, we’re three in, with ten left, and yet it still feels like we won’t have enough time for everything. I hope we do.
