[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]

Last week, we passed the halfway point on our final season of Continuum, and it kind of hit me as I watched this week’s episode, that they’re done soon. I will admit I got a little emotional about it.

It’s really rare that we get to the end of a show and I’m still all in (part of the reason I’m super nerdy about the return of The X-Files is that I loved and watched it in real-time every week for all nine seasons, and 13 years later, that affection has never wavered). I feel like they can’t possible finish Continuum in three episodes. And then I keep thinking they’re wasting precious time restating things we’ve already covered, i.e. we all know that Kiera wants to go home now.

In “Zero Hour,” we spend more time on that endeavor, and Alec gets a good look at his future self (hello, William B. Davis!), and someone else from his future, and we get the benefit of a bunch of scenes with Ian Tracey. Win! Elsewhere, Kellog starts to have doubts about his future self, it becomes less clear which team Brad is on/what his Future Soldier friends are really doing, Carlos finally calls bullsh-t about the secrets around him, and Curtis unleashes a little Traveler show and tell.
