TV Movie Goodness Preview: Hallmark Channel’s Angels Sing [VIDEO]

Hallmark Channel caps off its 10-day “Christmas Keepsake” film festivus with the Hallmark Channel premiere of Angels Sing, which stars Nashville‘s Connie Britton and multi-hyphenate Harry Connick Jr., who we most recently saw as a judge on American Idol. Also look for country legends Lyle Lovett, Kris Kristofferson, and Willie Nelson.

Here’s the official logline: As a child, Michael Walker (Connick) wished every day could be Christmas. That is, until a tragic accident crushed his holiday spirit. Thirty years later, Michael still can’t muster any joy for the holidays, despite encouragement from his playful wife and well-intentioned parents. But when his young son faces a tragedy, Michael needs to make amends with his past. A mysterious man named Nick gives Michael a gift and instills in him the courage to find the joy that he lost.

Angels Sing airs Saturday night at 8/7c, and it will not repeat until this winter, so set your DVRs. Here’s a sneak peek:
