[Warning: Spoilers in preview, photos, and video].
Well, Raylan decides to go after Darryl old-school style, rounding up the peripheral villains to smoke him out of his hidey hole. We don’t see Art at all in the episode, but we can presume the vendetta is as much about justice for him as it is justice for Kendal. And Raylan takes his long-running feud with Boyd to personal lengths with the promise of a final, formal, and federal comeuppance.
It’s a little exhausting, in some ways, to watch all roads lead back to Darryl, who remains unscathed, but I think we can be 99.9% sure there’s a massive rug pull coming for him in next week’s season finale. Tonight, though, look for:
- Wynn Duffy to glaze over the truth for Mr. Yoon’s goon squad.
- Dewey to prove he’s not made his stupidest move yet.
- Ava to get a visit, and offer, from Raylan that she shoots down and then has to reconsider when the tide turns on her short-term safety net.
- Wendy to finally realize what she agreed to.
- Tim and Rachel to get more than 10 minutes of screen time!
- Jimmy and Mike to realize they really need new bosses.
- Raylan to make a gamble.
