[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]
This week’s Killjoys is one-half bottle (rocket) show as the RAC honors their fallen aboard the worst vomit comet ride ever and one-half an equally volatile emotional roller coaster as Aneela faces a power play.

The funeral for the RAC agents, including Banyon, throws Dutch for a loop, rattling her confidence about the war and unsettling her relationships at home. That uneasiness follows the trio to the state funeral, which gets another layer of awkward when the last Pawter standing, Louella (Kimberly Sue-Murray), arrives with the contingent of The Nine and has no interest in playing old home week with Johnny.

What starts off sort of churchy and reverent for a formal affair turns sequentially murderous in a wink to Ten Little Indians and our Killjoys and Alvis have to act fast before they’re next on the hit list. Throw in a little gravity bingo aboard a small confined spaceship and now it’s a party.

Aneela and Delle Sayah find their morning after rudely interrupted on several fronts. Aneela weighs retaliation and has to take a hard look at why and where she feels most slighted by the personal attack–and we can safely assume that it’s only going to ratchet up her batshittery. We also get a glimpse of something sinister that we’re not entirely sure she knows is going on under her own roof.

The ratings are climbing every week, which is fantastic, but we want a renewal before the end of the season as the cherry on top. Here’s a sneak peek of “Necropolis Now.”
