[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]
Sunday night, Showtime wraps up Penny Dreadful with the season 2 finale, but we haven’t been able to pre-screen the episode, and only a couple of images have been released, so apologies in advance that I have no true teaser morsels for you.
We left off with the big battle about to begin, Sembene apparently mortally wounded by a wolfed-out Ethan, Vanessa chatting with Evelyn, and Malcolm, Victor, and Lyle trapped in the house. Elsewhere, John was duped into a locked cell at the waxworks and Lily forged a strange bond with Dorian. I expect an epic finale as they put all the threads to bed, but I am really, really hoping there is not another cliffhanger like the one we got last week. We shall see.
