Warning: Spoilers Ahead

I was not personally a fan of Rush, but I really like Tom Ellis. He’s so good at playing bad, and if Lucifer isn’t the ultimate bad boy I don’t know who is. I like the procedural element that will see him solving crimes with a female cop who seems impervious to his charms. But I also love that his absence from Hell is causing major problems.

Series synopsis, from FOX:

Based on characters from DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint, Lucifer is the charming, charismatic and handsome-as-hell original fallen angel, who, bored and unhappy in Hell, takes refuge in Los Angeles, where he uses his gift of persuasion to punish bad guys. But the longer he’s away from the underworld, the greater the threat that the worst of humanity could escape.

Inside Look:

Who can I talk to about moving this premiere up to Fall 2015? I might entertain making a deal with this devil.

Lucifer will premiere in 2016 on FOX.
