Sweet! One of our favorites, Colin Ferguson (0f Eureka, Haven, and The Vampire Diaries) has joined the cast of Hallmark Channel’s Cedar Cove for the third season, which begins shooting soon in Vancouver.Â
Ferguson will play Cedar Cove’s charming new District Attorney Paul Watson, who wastes no time getting to know Judge Olivia Lockhart (series star Andie MacDowell) while stirring up some drama in and out of her courtroom.
Here’s what Hallmark Channel had to say about the casting:
“Colin Ferguson is an exceptional new addition to our extraordinary Cedar Cove family, with his proven talent in series television and his electric, playful onscreen charisma,†said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President of Programming and Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “Colin’s character will surprise and delight viewers by adding an unexpected, but very fun, new dynamic to the emotional relationships and riveting storylines in Cedar Cove.â€
We love this! We know from Shawn Piller’s Instagram that Ferguson was up in Halifax for Haven last fall, directing one of the 13 episodes still yet to air. We don’t know, though, whether he will actually be back on screen as bad boy William.
Cedar Cove‘s third season begins airing on Hallmark Channel in July.
