Hearties rejoice! Hallmark Channel announced this morning that fan favorite series When Calls the Heart will return for a third season in February of 2016, with a move to Sundays at 8 pm/7c.
The network issued a release promising 10 new episodes with a two-hour sneak peek film at Christmas. That film will be in addition to the 10-hour order, so we’re getting 12 new hours total! The network had this to say about the return:
When Calls The Heart has a passionate loyal fan base in the television landscape and their devotion to the captivating storylines and characters has made this series grow with outstanding ratings and top social media engagement,†said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks. “We are incredibly proud of the series’ success and look forward to bringing families back together on Sunday nights in its new day and time period.â€
