[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]

Auggie is ALLLLIIIIVE. Ahem. With that important breaking news out of the way, the crew saddles up for Buenos Aires in the next-to-last episode of the season (and we STILL need a renewal!).

Last week, we got a flashback glimpse of Auggie’s ops team (hi, Rossif Sutherland and Kenny Johnson) taking down a crew that included Belenko’s brother. Belenko got it out of Auggie (by threatening Natasha) that Decker (Johnson) is still alive, so the clock is ticking to get to him before Belenko does. Back at home, Stephanie was visited by Belenko’s assassin and lived to tell about it.

Side note: Nazneen Contractor played a government agent on the Canadian series, The Border so I was sort of secretly itching for us to see her kick the guy’s ass. I’m OK, though, that we skipped right past all of that confrontation onscreen since we were already so violence-heavy.

Here’s what to expect from “Frontwards” — Annie and McQuaid’s relationship deepens as they search for Belenko’s next target; Calder lands in hot water while searching for the truth. Meanwhile, Joan concludes keeping Belenko alive is in the best interest of the CIA.

And here’s a sneak peek. Covert Affairs airs Thursday at 10/9c on USA. So far, no marathon is scheduled before next week’s season finale.
