After a week off, Motive returns tonight with an episode that’s a family affair with beaucoup guest star goodness. It’s a mystery where nobody wins, except us, for getting another strong hour of TV. We’ve covered how much I love this show, right?
The episode focuses on (my) Callum Keith Rennie (yay!) as a PTSD-afflicted paramedic who crosses paths with a man (Kristin Lehman’s real-life husband, Adam Greydon Reid, from Continuum) while out on a wilderness hike and their chance meeting has ramifications once they’re back home in Vancouver. Sarah Strange (Men in Trees) and Sarah Smyth (Cedar Cove) play their significant others. Bonus–we also get to see Flynn and Vega gussied up in formal wear!
Here’s the official logline: Detectives Flynn and Vega are pulled away from Vega’s father’s wedding to investigate a skydiving jump gone wrong. While working the case, Angie makes an effort to regain Vega’s trust by sharing a sensitive file that contains information on her and Sergeant Cross.
