I’m a sucker for the creepy supernatural movies that Lifetime/Lifetime Movie Network rolls out on the regular, and they usually marathon them around Halloween, but they took a bye this year, so tonight’s new outing, Clara’s Deadly Secret will have to do. It stars Lifetime staple (and Lost Girl‘s badass Dark Fae) Emmanuelle Vaugier as a mama bear forced to step in when some mysterious things in her brand new house start to threaten her daughters.
Here’s what LMN promises: In Clara’s Deadly Secret, Helen (Vaugier) and Mike (Richard Ruccolo) Clayton decide to leave their hectic city life behind and move to an old country house in Helen’s sleepy hometown of with their two daughters, Emma and Kate.  As they start to settle in, Kate makes an imaginary friend named Clara, who Kate claims is telling her about a young girl that died in the house. Soon the Claytons realize that their dream home has a grim past – one that refuses to stay buried. And when Helen finds old newspaper articles about the home’s history left in her mailbox, she becomes curious enough to do some digging of her own.  What she discovers convinces her that she must solve the mystery surrounding Clara and the death in the house before her family falls victim to a similar fate.
Clara’s Deadly Secret premieres tonight on LMN at 9/8c and repeats at midnight/11c and Sunday afternoon. Here’s a sneak peek:
