[Warning: General spoilers in article, photos, and video.]

We made it! The Justified season finale rolls out tomorrow, and after a whirlwind Crowe-fueled adventure, we wrap up almost every storyline and open the door for a few for next season, which will be the last of the series. And that’s what makes this finale a little bit tricky. While showrunners left and right have been playing fast and loose with their series regulars, I haven’t truly been worried about Justified taking anybody out because we have one more season.

Next year, I completely expect them to start dropping people left and right, beginning with the season premiere.  So, with that in mind, the few moments of heightened concern about a couple of our regulars are MacGuffins. That doesn’t dilute the finale, but it makes me wish we’d spent a little time on other scenes where the outcomes weren’t foregone.

What we do get is another bloodbath on a couple of different fronts, a few more promises made and broken, and new deals brokered.
