[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]
SurrealEstate wraps its excellent third season in the US this Thursday on Syfy (and in two weeks in Canada on CTV) with “The Elephant in the Room,” written by showrunner George R. Olson and directed by TW Peacocke.
When we left off last week, Tyler was coming for Mama Roman after Rita let slip to him that she’s alive and well. There’s no advance screener this week, so I can’t tell you what to expect, but we do have several photos to whet your appetite, teasing out some shenanigans (Lomax and Susan as nuns!), celebrations (champagne toasts!), and possibly hard conversations (Luke and Victoria! Rochelle and Augie!). Here’s the formal logline: Faced with the danger Tyler presents to them all, the Roman/Ireland team prepares for a final confrontation. Luke decides to make some big changes in his life.
Whatever shakes out, we’re here for it, and once again hopeful for another season with our literal and figurative closure specialists who brought us a fantastic set of episodes after a series of BTS stops and starts, relocations, and speedy, packed shooting schedules, oh my! Let’s do it again, shall we?
The SurrealEstate Season 3 finale airs Thursday at 10 pm/9c on Syfy in the US and CTV Sci-Fi in Canada (I’m not sure when they synched, but they did). The first two seasons are now streaming on Hulu. I am so hoping for an announcement of a season 4 (and 5, 6, however long the cast would like to film) of this show.
