Killjoys Preview: “Schooled”

[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]

The Killjoys continue their pursuit of whatever it is Khlyen was transmitting with a babysitting/escort warrant courtesy of Turin (and his fabulous hair).

This brings them back into Old Town to touch base with Pree and retrieve Pawter, who’s in a pickle when Johnny finds her, but she navigates her way out of it mostly without his help.

The team’s “short stack” charges are set to be delivered to the Killjoys equivalent of a talented and gifted program, which seems straightforward enough until they realize that Dutch’s #1 Frenemy Delle Sayah (Mayko Nguyen) is involved. From there, it goes about as well as you’d expect.

Look for refreshingly honest conversations sprinkled throughout, Johnny getting nerdy with someone else’s tech, and a little conciliatory slap and tickle between Dutch and D’avin, just not the way you think.

On our set visit in February, Prop Master Kate Grant shared one of her Season 2 creations, who you’ll meet tomorrow night. It’s fun to see how it fits into the episode.

Killjoys airs Fridays at 9/8c on Syfy.  Here’s a sneak peek of “Schooled.”
