Alrighty then. The warrant is indeed all, and Killjoys fans have been rewarded with a second season order for ten episodes set to air in 2016! The series was a TV Goodness favorite this summer, so we’re very happy with this news.
Here’s what the producers had to say!
“With exciting space-based action, deep world building, and a standout cast, Killjoys has struck a nerve with viewers and critics alike,†said Bill McGoldrick, Executive Vice President, Original Content, Syfy. “We can’t wait to see what adventures Michelle Lovretta and Temple Street take Dutch, John and D’avin on in season two.â€
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring back Killjoys and its stellar cast to audiences across the U.S.,†said David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg, co-Presidents of Temple Street Productions and Executive Producers of Killjoys. “We look forward to working with the team at Syfy for a thrilling second season.â€
You can catch up on all of the first season with our recaps here, and online at syfy.com.
This is excellent news as Syfy builds its next generation of dramas. 12 Monkeys is already back in production on its second season, and Dark Matter was also renewed this morning.

Let’s Talk About Will Trent
[Spoilers for “The Blank Expanse of Nothing”] It’s been a minute since I’ve had a good, old-fashioned rant about a TV series, so I’m overdue. If you’ve followed me on IG the last few years (hi!), you know that I yell often and loud about my love for Will Trent....

George R. Olson and Tim Rozon Share Their Gratitude for SurrealEstate’s Run
Since SurrealEstate wrapped its third season six months ago, I’ve checked about once a week to see whether there was any news on cancelled or renewed. As long as there was no decision, there was still hope for a fourth season. This week, series creator George R. Olson let the...
Hulu’s Paradise S1 Weaves Past and Present to Unravel a Murder
One of the nice things about the symbiosis of the entertainment conglomerates is that sometimes streaming shows make their way over to linear outlets. Case in point: ABC has given Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building a primetime slot (after of course tweaking the language for FCC regs) during its...

Closing out our From Season 3 coverage (which you can find here), in the second part of my conversation with Scott McCord, we talk about Victor’s new friendship with Sara, reconnecting with Tabitha, and what might be next for Victor when Season 4 returns in 2026. As we’ve talked about...
Dennis Heaton Talks Murder in a Small Town
Murder in a Small Town wraps its first season Tuesday night on FOX in the US and Wednesday night on Global TV in Canada. For US viewers, it’s been a neat addition to the usual FOX fare to have a slower-paced, small-town murder mystery with a parade of CdnTV peeps...
Harold Perrineau Talks From Season 3
[Warning: Includes spoilers for the Season 3 finale.] How are you doing, FROMily? That finale was A LOT. Thankfully we know we’re going to get more of this story, and you have a year and change to work on your Venn diagram deciphering the OMG WTFery of it all. Last...
Scott McCord Talks From Season 3
From the jump (pun intended), I’ve been a staunch advocate of Victor (and Scott McCord, who plays him), and this season, he’s been put through it. On the heels of sending Tabitha off into the unknown and having her return with his father, he unearths the long-suppressed memory that as...
Corteon Moore Talks From Season 3
From has always been really good about delighting us with mix-and-match character pairings, and this season, we’ve seen Jade and Tabitha, Sara and Victor, Henry and Victor, and Kenny and Acosta team up. As Ellis, Corteon Moore has spent a chunk of time this season paired up with Pegah Ghafoori...

Two Takes: The Catch “The Knock-Off”
Who can you trust? If this episode of The Catch was any indication, the answer is just about nobody. Betrayal was running rampant as Felicity (Shivani Ghai) arose from the dead to seduce-con Margot, Gretchen (Maria Thayer, Gotham, The Mindy Project) played gold-hearted Alice 2.0 before swindling Ethan, Tessa jumped...
What They Said: Favorite Quotes from Supergirl “Worlds Finest”
Oh, Supergirl. That ending was cold. But I can’t hate on you because the latest episode has quickly become one of my favorites.
What Lucifer Said: Favorite quotes from Supernatural “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”
Supernatural episodes are almost always funny but thanks to the dialogue and a certain man speaking said dialogue, I laughed a lot during “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” You know, when I wasn’t busy fearing for Sam’s life or wondering what in the world was going on with Dean and...
What They Said: Favorite Quotes from Supernatural “Angel Heart”
Okay, that was my favorite of all the Claire episodes. In the beginning I think this arc was a bit shaky, to be honest. But I think it ended strong and that’s thanks to the chemistry between the actors as well as the strength of the writing, courtesy of Robbie...
What They Said: Favorite Quotes from The Vampire Diaries “I’ll Remember”
Season 5 Episode 1: “I’ll Remember” Writer: Caroline Dries This is odd. It’s an episode of The Vampire Diaries and there’s only one favorite quote from Damon. Of course, he was only in one scene. There are a few Hallucination!Damon quotes included though. What were some of your favorite quotes...
