A Very Country Wedding Preview

A Very Country Wedding Preview

Apparently the 2017 holiday flick A Very Country Christmas is the gift that keeps on giving. Tonight UPtv drops its summertime sequel called A Very Country Wedding.

Same cast of characters. With a few additions, of course. But at the heart of this love story are Zane (Bitten‘s Greyston Holt) and Jeannette (Murdoch MysteriesBea Santos).

If you recall, Zane’s a country superstar inundated with business and tours and fans and all the trappings of fame. His life changes for the better when he meets and falls in love with single mom and budding interior designer Jeannette. They lead different lives but find a way to survive all the obstacles and complications thrown in their way.

When the action picks up in A Very Country Wedding, the two are obviously looking to get hitched. The road to the altar for the conflicted yet completely in love couple is expectedly paved with more obstacles, miscommunications and insecurities.

Two of the movie’s supporting actors get a little bit more to do this time around, namely veteran country singer/songwriter Deana Carter, who plays Jolene, FOC (friend of the main couple). Things take a turn for her when she encounters someone from her past.

The other familiar face is Days of our LivesGreg Vaughan, who plays Billy. As Zane’s brother and manager, it’s Billy’s job to handle many of the business aspects of his sibling’s career, especially when it’s about to go off the rails. He continues to clash with a record executive looking to make his and Zane’s lives more turbulent than normal.

A new face to this world is Jesse Collin, who plays Bart, one of Zane and Billy’s brothers. Yes, there are three of them now. And just in case you’re wondering, they’re all pretty adorable.

A Very Country Wedding premieres tonight at 7/6c on UPtv and then airs again at 9/8c. But first, see how Zane and Jeannette’s love story began when A Very Country Christmas re-airs this afternoon at 5/4c.
