It’s happening. It’s really happening.
The moment Supernatural fans have been awaiting for years and years and… yes, years, is finally here. The CW announced today that Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be reprising his role as Dean and Sam’s father in Supernatural‘s 300th episode titled, “Lebanon,” airing in February, 2019. Morgan has most recently been seen as Negan on AMC’s The Walking Dead.
Morgan last appeared on Supernatural in the show’s second season, though his spirit has remained a heavy influence on his sons throughout the years. The monumental 300th episode was finally the time to bring him back, but how will it happen? That remains a mystery for now. Alive? Dead? A vision?
However it comes to be, it will be a sight to be seen, “We’re incredibly excited to have Jeffrey back for this milestone episode, and think fans will love what we have planned for his character… and a few other surprise guest stars,” said Executive producer Andrew Dabb.
Supernatural‘s 300th episode, “Lebanon,” airs Thursday, February 7 at 8/7c on the CW.
