On ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, celebrity alumni returned, resulting in this season’s contestants performing two dances.
In addition to the weekly individual routines, the trio dance featured the Season 25 couples performing with great dancers from the past.
At the end of it all, one couple went home, missing the semifinals.
INDIVIDUAL
Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke
Dance: Charleston
Phone Number: 800-868-3411

Even though Terrell whined during rehearsals, he came out and performed his heart out. He has improved every week and Cheryl continues to show her genius as a teacher. This was a good number for him but he came across as a big baby during the video package.
Score: Carrie Ann-9, Len-9, Bruno-9; Total: 27
Drew Scott and Emma Slater
Dance: Waltz
Phone Number: 800-868-3404

As I watched this dance, I just said wow! The judges weren’t so nice and I couldn’t disagree more. Drew is definitely one who has shown that you never know who can shine. The dance was dedicated to his fiancée and it was lovely.
Score: Carrie Ann-7, Len-7, Bruno-8; Total: 22
Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy
Dance: Argentine Tango
Phone Number: 800-868-3413

Poor Victoria suffered a major back spasm hours before the live show. They weren’t sure she would even dance. But she did. In fact, she came back and was seriously amazing. I think because she was still hurting it showed in the acting part of the dance but she is a fighter.
Score: Carrie Ann-8, Len-8, Bruno-8; Total: 24
Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas
Dance: Samba
Phone Number: 800-868-3407

After suffering a broken rib last week Lindsey came back stronger this week. She has such a fire in her. She is so natural and she’s one of the few partners Mark has had that fits with his uniqueness and his unique brand of choreography. Of course this Samba was a weird dance because that is Mark. Lindsey went out and had fun.
Score: Carrie Ann-9, Len-8, Bruno-9; Total: 26
Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson
Dance: Viennese Waltz
Phone Number: 800-868-3405

Frankie has this insecurity and self doubt but you would never know by the way he dances. Len was a bit harsh towards Frankie, in my opinion. I don’t understand this because what I saw was a beautiful dance. Maybe minor, slight mistakes, but not enough to go off the way Len did.
Score: Carrie Ann-9, Len-8, Bruno-9; Total: 26
Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold
Dance: Quickstep
Phone Number: 800-868-3406

Jordan and Lindsay are pure magic when they dance. He has the technique, the style and any other adjective that means brilliant. To the judges, they were perfection. Len even gave them a standing ovation!
Score: Carrie Ann-10, Len-10, Bruno-10; Total: 30
TRIO
Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke (with Kelly Monaco)
Dance: Rumba
Phone Number: 800-868-3411

Terrell had his hands full dancing with both Cheryl and Season 1 winner Kelly Monaco of ABC’s General Hospital. This Rumba wasn’t as good as his first dance of the night but it was sexy. I actually thought it was a bit off. Maybe his attraction to Kelly threw him off.
Score: Carrie Ann-8, Len-8, Bruno-8; Total: 24
Total Score for the night: 51
Drew Scott and Emma Slater (with Rashad Jennings)
Dance: Cha Cha
Phone Number: 800-868-3404

Drew has been the biggest surprise of the season. Rashad, last season’s champion, came and helped Drew with his swagger and soul! I agree with Carrie Ann, The NFL running back raised Drew’s game. Despite this success, Drew did have small mistakes that the non-dancer would not even noticed. Hence, the 25/30 score.
Score: Carrie Ann-9, Len-8, Bruno-8; Total: 25
Total Score for the night: 47
Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy (with Laurie Hernandez)
Dance: Jive
Phone Number: 800-868-3413

Two Olympic gold champions, one of which won the Mirrorball trophy back in 2016. What was interesting about this Jive was that I felt Laurie and Val outshined Victoria. That’s the issue I had anyway. Victoria came out a bit awkward bit I think she’s suffering a bit and it showed. Victoria has to work on her emotions. She is really a trooper.
Score: Carrie Ann-8, Len-8, Bruno-8; Total: 24
Total Score for the night: 48
Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas (Kristi Yamaguchi)
Dance: Jazz
Phone Number: 800-868-3407

Unsurprisingly, Lindsey, Mark and his Season 6 partner — and Mirrorball champ — Kristi Yamaguchi, provided a show stopper of a jazz dance. It reminded me of old Hollywood Glamour. (Now I sound like Bruno!) The energy and moves were completely matched. There was synergy between all three. It should have been all 10s but they still haven’t figured out that I should be judging.
Score: Carrie Ann-10, Len-9, Bruno-9; Total: 28
Total Score for the night: 54
Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson (with Alfonso Ribero)
Dance: Jive
Phone Number: 800-868-3405

Alfonso was a great match for fellow former child star Frankie Muniz. They already knew each other and the Season 19 champion was great for Frankie’s confidence. I agree with Bruno that they never overshadowed each other. Frankie needs to get out of his head because he is a fantastic dancer.
Score: Carrie Ann-9, Len-9, Bruno-9; Total: 27
Total Score for the night: 53
Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold (with Corbin Bleu)
Dance: Salsa
Phone Number: 800-868-3406

Not just two Broadway Stars. Two Disney Stars! With the addition of Season 17 runner up Corbin Bleu, this salsa was by far the best dance of the night and the most well-suited trio I have ever seen in the ballroom. This was perfection. The two guys made each other better. And the judges agreed, which meant Jordan finished the evening with a perfect 60.
Score: Carrie Ann-10, Len-10, Bruno-10; Total: 30
Total Score for the night: 60
And then it was time for the sad part of the show: the elimination. Next week’s the Semifinals so this was a big deal.

The first couple safe: Jordan & Lindsay. (Duh!)
The second couple joining them in the semifinals: Lindsey & Mark.
Victoria & Val were safe. So were Drew & Emma.
It all came down to Frankie & Witney and Terrell & Cheryl.

The couple leaving the dance floor: Terrell & Cheryl.
Frankie & Witney are rightfully going to the Semi-Finals.
