What happens when a war veteran (not a hero to many people, but someone who served their country faithfully) returns home from a My Lai-type massacre? What happens when he and his best friend, who is black, can’t find anyone who wants to employ them much less spend an extended amount of time with them? Scarred by events he won’t discuss and struggling to reconnect with his wife, find purpose, an income and common ground with the civilians in his life, Mac Conway turns to the only thing he really knows: killing.

Series Synopsis, from Cinemax: When U.S. Marine Mac Conway returns home to Memphis from Vietnam in 1972, he finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public he fought for. While struggling with the nightmarish experiences he witnessed and took part in, Conway is unwillingly drawn into a network of killing that spans the length of the Mississippi River.

Characters:

Logan Marshall-Green stars as Mac Conway, aka Quarry, who is trying to re-adapt to normal society after Vietnam. Struggling to make ends meet, he is lured into an underground killing network.
