[Warning: General spoilers ahead]

Next up on Wynonna Earp, the team is fragmented a scoche as Dolls has to answer for his actions last week, which leaves Wynonna to run the division on her own.

Thankfully, on her own doesn’t equal alone, and she finds herself confiding in Waverly’s new pal, Officer Haught. Waverly is back at the homestead trying to resume some normalcy with her pre-Wynonna girl posse, which is complicated by the arrival of Doc and the Stone Witch’s pursuit of the skull now in her possession. This bodes ill for The Blackmsith, too.

We also get a wicked cliffhanger. Warning you now.

It’s a great episode that shows Waverly’s mettle when tested, and gives Wynonna a chance to realize that Black Badge’s rules about secrety secrets aren’t serving anyone. It’ll take a village. Also look for a fantastically funny moment in the morgue that begets this gem from Emily Andras and Caitlin D. Fryers (in her first script credit!), “”Dude! This a morgue! Wear a bell or something, okay?”

Wynonna Earp airs Fridays at 10/9c on Syfy. If you’re not already, please join the live Tweet shenanigans with the cast and crew during the East Coast feed. It’s tons of fun–use #Earpers and #WynonnaEarp. Here’s a sneak peek of “Walking After Midnight,” which I only wish had found a way to work in the original badass, Patsy Cline. Just saying.
