On the small screen, crossovers featuring DC-TV characters is our jam. Until now, this kind of thing has been relegated to the CW universe. But now that Supergirl exists on CBS, there’s an opportunity for more. On Monday, Mar. 28, Kara Danvers makes a new friend in the form of Barry Allen and The Flash. This budding new friendship happens just in time considering Kara’s support team — Hank and Alex — are fugitives on the run. The very super crossover is appropriately called, “Worlds Finest.”

Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.

What else makes this interesting is that Kara and Barry’s alter egos will have to go up against a double dose of villainy. Livewire is back and we finally get to lay our eyes on Silver Banshee in all her glory.

Earlier this week, Siobhan’s bitterness and sense of betrayal led to a fascinating revelation. When her drunken self accidentally tipped over the roof of that building, well, let’s just say something was unleashed. That cry of hers must have been cathartic because now she’s ready to bust out big and bad. Emphasis on bad.

Here’s a special treat: from the Supergirl set, Melissa Benoist, Grant Gustin, Mehcad Brooks, and Jeremy Jordan talk about what to expect from this highly anticipated episode. What’s even better is that they all seem so giddy when they talk about “Worlds Finest.” Almost as giddy as those of us who are ready to see Supergirl and The Flash team up a.s.a.p.

Umm…Barry’s mere presence is going to cause James to act jealous? Sign. Us. Up. Keep checking back here before “Worlds Finest” takes off. We’ll have even more information on this major mini-crossover.

Supergirl airs Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.
