UP TV has joined the family-friendly holiday fray, rolling out their archival films, and a handful of new movies, including A Dogwalker’s Christmas Tale and Christmas Trade. Sunday night, the network premieres Angels in the Snow with Chris Potter from Heartland and The Good Witch films and holiday movie staple Kristy Swanson.
Potter and Swanson play the Montgomerys, a well-to-do-couple whose family is starting to buckle under the stress of dad’s non-stop work schedule. While celebrating the holidays at their new cabin, they’re descended upon by the Tucker family, who are stranded during a blizzard. Together, the families discover the magic of Christmas and the importance of family.
The movie is based on the book of the same name by Rexanne Becnel. The cast also includes Continuum‘s Catherine Lough Haggquist, Colin Lawrence (Impastor/Minority Report), and Jaeda Lily Miller, who had two Hallmark holiday movies–The Christmas Secret and A Cookie Cutter Christmas–last year.
