We’re already at the next-to-last episode of the first season of Ties That Bind (fingers crossed for a second). This week, as Allison and Devon investigate the murder of a successful CEO who was less successful at managing his home life, Jackie comes home from rehab.
The addition of just one more person to the already packed household stirs some long-held emotions about what exactly they’re all doing, and it’s good to see that they’re all human–that there will be moments when everything isn’t shiny, happy, perfect, but at the end of the day they are a family dedicated to each other.
And of course, that also dovetails back to the case of the week. It’s also nice to see Jackie come home with really good intentions and struggle with both making amends for her previous history as a mom while trying to be and do better now for herself and her kids.
