[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]
Just warning you now that there is a MASSIVE cliffhanger at the end of “Assassins.” That FYI out of the way, it’s otherwise a methodical episode of sorts as characters go after what they want, and then, to varying degrees, pay significant prices for choosing to do so.
We spend the hour in switched up pairings, which is always a nice change, and an interesting look at how the extended family relates to each other when they’re separated off into different groups. Eph and Dutch work together take out Palmer while Setrakian enlists Nora and Fet to look for the Lumen.
Elsewhere, Palmer tries to woo Coco back to his work and home, and at the Mayor’s request, Justine offers to expand her proven protection services to the Upper East Side, but she wants something in return. And then at the end we have the HUGE cliffhanger. We don’t see Zach, Nikki, Gus, Angel, the Guptas, Quinlan or Kelly and the Feelers.
