Finales on 10-episode seasons are a tricky thing because you feel like maybe there was more to say or do and now we’ve already arrived at the conclusion, or pause, if we have a renewal coming (which we’re still waiting on for this show).
“Escape Velocity” essentially pulls the rip cord after the reveal of last week’s episode that Khylen is a mythical Level Six Killjoy and Dutch is marked for, and has been protected from, something. This week, the team scrambles to save Alvis, the Quad, and themselves from a larger manipulation that’s been subtly brewing all season.
Here’s the basic logline on what to expect: As peace in the Quad hangs in the balance, our Killjoys are finally compelled to choose a side.
