[Warning: General spoilers ahead]
This week on The Strain, Gus (Miguel Gomez) gets a showcase episode of sorts as he tries to find his way following the cluster of the failed assault at Palmer’s penthouse. While he’s wandering the city, he makes a new friend (Parveen Kaur) and discovers a childhood hero (JoaquÃn Cosio) is still alive and well.
Elsewhere in the episode, we get another look at the Palmer/Setrakian backstory that sheds light on Palmer’s course correction about the Strigoi, Dutch comes up with a very intriguing idea for figuring out what Palmer does and doesn’t know about the Lumen, Fet gets in over his head, and the Goodweather boys attempt some bonding that backfires.
The Strain airs tonight at 10/9c on FX. Here’s a sneak peek of “The Silver Angel.”
