Hallmark Channel dives headlong into wedding fever this weekend with two new premieres and a marathon of its wedding-themed fan favorites. First up is Perfect Match starring Danica McKellar in what I’m fairly certain is her Hallmark debut, Bitten‘s Paul Greene (who just wrapped the upcoming A Christmas to Remember with Candace Cameron Bure), and Linda Gray.
Here’s what to expect: When a young couple has opposing visions of their wedding day, two competing wedding planners (McKellar and Greene) are brought in to arrange the perfect event. As the wedding day approaches, the clashing wedding planners find romance of their own and discover that opposites can produce the most surprising results. Ron Oliver, who directed Hallmark properties I Do, I Do, Do, Recipe For Love, and Wedding Planner Mystery in the last year (and the aforementioned Christmas movie with Green and Bure), directs a script by Patricia Resnick (Midnight Masquerade).
Perfect Match airs at 9/8c on Saturday, following a day of wedding-themed movies. Here’s a sneak peek.
