YASSSSS. TV is being very good to me this week. Penny Dreadful has been renewed for a third season of nine episodes (down from this season’s ten and up from last season’s eight). Production will commence again in Dublin, Ireland this fall.
“John Logan’s brilliant writing and this amazingly talented ensemble continue to draw a passionate, global fan base into the meticulously crafted world of Penny Dreadful,†said Showtime Networks, Inc. president David Nevins about the announcement. “Together with our wonderful partners at Sky Atlantic, we’re excited to see what new haunts John and his team have in store for season three.â€
