Warning: Spoilers Ahead

We’ve been getting excited for season 3 since May, when we heard that the season started filming. The season 2 finale was shocking — for us, at least. We didn’t think Daniel would confess. Then again, we’re not really sure we’ll ever know what truly went down that night. You may remember that Daniel told Trey he couldn’t remember what happened. The only thing he did seem to know was that he didn’t rape Hanna Dean. So does Daniel “confess” so he can be done with this chapter of his life and truly move on? Why does he choose to tell this version of events to the DA’s office? Will they accept this confession as part of his plea deal? Will Daniel’s assault on Ted Jr. be taken into consideration?

Season 3 of the hour-long drama picks up immediately where season 2 left off, on the very afternoon of Daniel’s plea deal. Will the deal be accepted?  Will Daniel be forced to leave town?  And when the body of a missing person is discovered, law enforcement once again turns to him for answers. As Daniel’s devoted sister Amantha attempts to live her own life, she is given an opportunity at a local store that for the first time in a long time has nothing to do with her brother. Meanwhile, Tawney and Ted Jr. struggle to see if their marriage has a future by delving into their pasts for answers. Janet and Ted Sr., also under pressure from Daniel’s actions, will find that their marriage is put to the test as well.
