[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]
So after last week’s horror show of Malcolm’s wife suicide played out against three separate couplings, tomorrow we pick up the aftermath, when there’s predictably no smooth sailing for any of the couples, except perhaps Malcolm, who is physically and emotionally altered after sleeping with Evelyn.
There’s a tantalizing potential for reintroductions and memory jogging that doesn’t pay off, but it’s a little rattling to watch. We also see Ethan start to buckle under the strain of his secrets, and in doing so, possibly jeopardize the progress he’s made in growing closer to Vanessa (because boys/wolf-boys are stupid that way).
Here’s what to expect: Vanessa and Ethan give Sir Malcolm tragic news. Lavinia Putney is disturbed by an encounter with The Creature. Roper hunts down Ethan. Dorian hosts a lavish ball in Angelique’s honor. Tensions are high as everyone comes together for the opulent event, which turns to horror for Vanessa.
