Have you seen the trailer for season 5?
What we already know:
- We’ll be seeing less of Tyler Hoechlin‘s Derek Hale. We’re bummed, but as long as they use him to his full potential while he is on screen, we’re good. And there’s plenty of great story here. After his “death” last season, he can completely shift into a wolf, just like his mother and sister. What’s next for him? What’s next for him and Braeden? How will they “write him off?”
- We know Parrish is supernatural, but we still have no idea what he is. It’s got to be good since taking him out last year would’ve given an assassin $5 million in the bank. We need to know if the bestiary revealed anything and we need to know pronto.
- As a alpha — and a true alpha, at that — does Scott needs to build up his pack? He’s already got a great collection of supernatural beings and his human, so I think it would be awesome to see something totally new.
- How are the Calaveras and Argent’s hunt for Kate going? We like Jill Wagner, but we despise Kate. Good hunting, Chris. Please kill that crazy bitch.
- What did Dr. Valack reveal to Peter and how will that play out this season?
What we know after watching the trailer:
- How is it ONLY senior year? I mean, we love high school shows so we won’t complain too loudly.
- Looks like Stiles and Malia are taking things to the next level.
- Why is Lydia in a mental institution? Is that Eichen House? Where’s Peter?
- Who is that new wolf? We can’t imagine Scott won’t let him into the pack.
- What “rules” is Deaton talking about?
- Who’s the S5 big bad and what are those weird new creatures?
- “Watch Your Pack” is a great tagline. We likey.
