Although we were extremely impressed with Jamie’s makeup in “Troll Bridge,” it was time for her to leave the competition. Her black widow look in “Dressed to Kill” was a mess. And even though we’re not that impressed with Ben (we’re not sure why, although we didn’t like the way he worked — or didn’t — work with Kelly in the last challenge), but his winning look was pretty outstanding. It worked on every level.
We’re not sure if Ben has what it takes to make it to the finale — which we know is still quite a ways off — but there are a few artists we’d be surprised not to see there. Here’s a look at some of our favorite recent looks and the artists that achieved them:
Was it Laura who suggested they use the male model as the abdomen? Either way, Julian and Logan worked together brilliantly to achieve this look. We can see one of or both of these guys in the finale.
We feel like we still don’t know all that much about Stephanie, but we love Kelly’s weirdness. We’re hoping Kelly makes it far.
Darla came out of the gate strong, but she’s stumbled in a few of the challenges. She and Ben worked very well together on this challenge though. We still think Darla has what it takes to make it in the finale. Hopefully she’s regain some confidence and put out some really good makeups.
Emily’s our current frontrunner. She’s just incredibly creative and we like that she does makeups that are different and surprising.
