Warning: Spoilers Ahead

It’s time. When the Musketeers rescued General De Foix in “Keep Your Friends Close,” we learned that he and Treville had been keeping a very big secret from Porthos. They know who his father is, but it’s a secret they seemed resolved to take to their graves. But with De Foix in mortal danger, he had time to reconsider and he determined that Porthos should know the truth. But it’s not until Treville is also seriously wounded that he feels the need to unburden himself. And it’s not like Porthos was totally in the dark. He knew the captain was keeping something from him, he just had no idea it was this big.
