[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]

Rachel Boston, returns to Hallmark Sunday night with the premiere of A Gift of Miracles on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The film is a romantic drama with spiritual overtures that will appeal to Boston’s Witches of East End  fans, and the folks who adored A Ring By Spring last year.

Here’s the formal logline: A pragmatic PhD candidate (Boston) must let go of her logic when she finds a list of items to give away written by the late mother she never knew. With the encouragement of her enthusiastic new mentor, she attempts to return everything on the list, and begins to encounter unexplainable coincidences that lead her to understand the world’s smallest marvels have the greatest meaning.

The supporting cast includes Rita Moreno, Cedar Cove‘s Andrew Airlie and Jesse Moss, and one of my favorite Canadian actresses, Sarah-Jane Redmond.

It’s a sweet movie that requires a little bit of suspension of disbelief in how things come together, but if you approach it with an open mind, I’ve no doubt you’ll enjoy the journey.
