Revenge “Epitaph” 

Happy New Year!  Not so happy in the Revenge world but as we all know from last time — Daniel is dead. Here are my thoughts on how everything went down:

• David is panicked when he finds out that FBI chick is really the daughter of the mysterious Malcolm Black. I have to say I’m a little scared if David is scared.
• Nolan should never leave Louise alone in his house or where he keeps any of his belongings. Nolan is so smart but so dumb when it comes to women and men.

• Poor Jack slept with a woman and then shot and killed her. I mean, she was trying to kill Emily so he had too. But now he has to lie and he was trying so hard to be a perfect cop. But when all is said and done he loves Emily/Amanda too much. He’s a good guy just trying to do the right thing.
• Louise is totally nutso! I still don’t understand the obsession with Victoria at all. Victoria treated her badly. Now she helps Victoria steal the picture she sent Malcolm Black’s daughter, just so David doesn’t realize that it’s her fault that Daniel is dead. She wants to hold the death over Emily’s head. Victoria needs to get in some trouble.

• Margaux is pissed and is now going to have her Revenge on Emily since she thinks Ms.Thorne is the one who killed Daniel. What happens when she finds out the truth? Hopefully when she finds out what really happened she would move on. (But not with Jack!)
• What is the deal with Ben? Anyone else over him? He can’t just leave things be. Also just because a girl isn’t interested in him he tries to find something wrong with the girl. (I mean he is right, Emily has done some things.) But Dude, get over yourself!
• Chief Alvarez pulls over David? Really? The best part was that David called him out about that he is jealous over Victoria.
• I think it’s sad that Emily is banned from Daniel’s funeral but you knew she would sneak in the background. Also it was nice they did a montage of the Daniel and Emily moments.
• So Victoria asks Louise to destroy the envelope that she asked her to steal from Nolan’s.  How dumb is Victoria? Louise is totally going to keep it and use it.

• David admitted to Emily that he was going to kill Victoria. I think this might have made Emily feel better about her Dad. It gives a whole new meaning to Father/Daughter bonding.
• I thought that Chief Alvarez had something to do with Malcolm Black. Well, at the end of the episode we found out how untrue that was. We got the first glimpse of the mysterious Malcolm and he stabbed the Chief.

The question is who is Malcolm Black and why is he so powerful?  Why did David get involved with him And how much danger is everyone in? I have a theory: I think Ben is involved with Malcolm Black and he actually knows that Emily is really Amanda. I could be wrong but it’s something to think about right? I also think someone else will die this season. It is Revenge after all.
