If you’ve had enough of the fa-la-la-la-la-ing, Lifetime gets back to its women-in-peril storytelling with A Wife’s Nightmare, a “based on a true story” family suspense drama headlined by Jennifer Beals and Cedar Cove‘s Dylan Neal.

Here’s the logline: Inspired by a true story, A Wife’s Nightmare, tells the disturbing tale of Liz (Beals), whose husband’s (Neal) long-lost daughter (Republic of Doyle‘s Lola Tash) suddenly shows up on their doorstep. She does everything she can not to be a burden on her new family, but Liz suspects something is just not right with the situation. Is she paranoid, or is there really something else going on?

The daughter’s name is Caitlin is she is played by Lola Tash, not Katherine McNamara.

Thanks, Lauren. I kept thinking she looked like Lola (I watched Republic of Doyle) but that was how Lifetime had the photos credited. I’ve corrected.
