Lifetime and LMN apparently want to terrify you about leaving your kids with caretakers or in daycare after the holidays with a twofer of dramas centered around bonkers babysitters, both airing Sunday night.

Lifetime premieres Nanny Cam at 9/8c. It stars Reckless‘s Cam Gigandet, Ravenswood‘s Laura Allen, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager‘s India Eisley.

Here’s the logline: When Linda and Mark’s elderly nanny, Mrs. Highsmith, is no longer able to care for their five-year-old daughter Chloe, they have no choice but to find a new sitter immediately. That’s when Heather enters their life. Great with kids and with a glowing recommendation, Heather seems perfect. But Linda isn’t ready to trust a new sitter with her child, and decides to keep an eye on them via nanny cams. Her curiosity turns to obsession as she notices Chloe growing more and more attached to Heather… not to mention Mark. Is Heather slowly muscling her way into Linda’s role? Will Linda be able to keep Heather from doing the unthinkable by facing a past she’s tried to forget?

Here’s the logline (which sounds a scoche similar to The Hand That Rocks The Cradle): After a few years of financial hardship, Rachel, recently divorced, decides to go back to work to help with the mounting bills. With no one to watch her 4-year-old daughter Mia, Rachel decides to enroll her into the local daycare center owned by Gabby, a seemingly responsible older woman. After a few weeks of Mia’s awkward behavior, Rachel concludes her daughter may be getting mistreated at the day care facility. Going on the offensive, Rachel decides to plant a hidden camera hoping to incriminate Gabby. Her plan hits a snag when she learns Gabby is actually the victim of a car crash that Rachel and her husband were involved in years ago and Gabby’s motives may be tied to the accident.

Here is a sneak peek of Deadly Daycare. At press time, there wasn’t a linkable trailer available for Nanny Cam, but can see it here.
