I’ve been a fan of this show since the pilot, so when I heard last week that ABC picked the show up for a full season, I got excited. I’m very interested to see more of Henry’s past revealed through flashbacks, but I’m also very invested in his present with Jo and Abe. Who is Adam (I actually know and it’s good) and when will we see his face? Will Henry ever trust Jo enough to reveal his secret? Does Jo wonder what secrets Henry’s keeping from her? I just have so many questions and I got some answers when I talked to series stars Ioan Gruffudd and Alana De La Garza as well as EP Matt Miller at NYCC last month.

What do we have to look forward to in “The Ecstasy of the Agony?” Guest stars Jane Seymour and Hilarie Burton, for one. And maybe a little naughty time for a few of the characters.
Episode synopsis, from ABC:
Henry and Jo discover there is a fine line between pleasure and pain when the death of a successful businessman and devoted husband points to a form of ritualized punishment. Henry learns it may be all a question of trust. The man’s “domination therapist†comes under scrutiny as a murder suspect, who also wants to help Henry work through his own issues. Flashbacks reveal Henry’s emotional story of betrayal after he shares his secret with his first wife, Nora. Meanwhile, Abe is flabbergasted when the object of his intense passion –Maureen Delacroix — his two-time ex-wife, reappears with a tempting offer.
