Warning: Spoilers Ahead
Well, if the image above is anything to go by it looks like things are progressing between Thackery and Lucy. We don’t want to see that blow up, but we hope Thackery’s extracurricular activities don’t get in the way of wherever those two want to take this relationship. We’re also pretty curious to see if there’s any fallout from Edwards’ and Cornelia’s make out session. Did it go further? Did they come to their senses and stop? Will this make Cornelia reconsider her engagement? We’ve got so many questions and we hope to get at least a few of them answered in “Working Late a Lot.”
Episode synopsis, from Cinemax:
Already on edge due to a city-wide run on cocaine, Thackery worries that Dr. Levi Zinberg (Michael Nathanson), a Jewish surgeon and inventor, will steal his spotlight at the next New York Surgical Society presentation. Bertie continues his courtship of Lucy while staving off his father’s persistent demands that he leave the Knick. Cornelia, Speight and Bertie go to court in an attempt to keep “Typhoid Mary†Mallon (Melissa McMeekin) quarantined. Gallinger tries to get Eleanor to move past her grief.
The Knick airs Fridays at 10/9c on Cinemax.
