Warning: Spoilers Ahead
At the end of the last episode, Setrakian and Co. barely escapes an ambush orchestrated by the Master and Eichhorst, but not without losing one team member (RIP Jim, sniff, sniff). Now that Eph knows that he and Setrakian are being targeted, he races to get his family to safety only to discover that Kelly is missing. Uh oh. Let us not forget Matt’s little run-in with the vamps at Sears, and while we never saw what all went down, we can make some good guesses.
And the Setrakian and Eichhorst flashbacks continue with Richard Sammel giving one of his best performances of the series. I had written a character analysis just earlier this week on Thomas Eichhorst and one of the things that was still missing was the story behind Eichhorst being turned by the Master and transitioning into one of the few elite strigoi. Well, we finally get that last piece of the puzzle and all I can say is it is magnificent and you’re gonna love it.
