We’re glad Claire hasn’t given up on her escape attempt. Now that she’s away from the castle (and hopefully traveling towards Inverness), we’ll see what kind of new plan Claire devises. In the meantime, we’re always up for more of that effortless chemistry she and Jamie seem to share. Of course she’s fighting it, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. After all, she’s still trying to get back to her husband. So we’re hoping for another flashback (or two) to show us more of her life with Frank as well. But if we enjoy the time she shares with Jamie in the present, can you blame us?

Claire joins the MacKenzie rent-collecting trip. To her horror, Dougal uses Jamie’s scars to gain sympathy for the Jacobite cause. Claire recalls that a defining moment in Scottish history is fast approaching.
