Amanda Schull takes a break from helping Louis Litt things up on Suits by headlining Betrayed, a woman-in-peril thriller that premieres tonight on Lifetime Movie Network. Schull’s busy–she’s also at work on the first season of Syfy’s upcoming 12 Monkeys series adaptation of the 1995 film, which will premiere this winter.

Here’s the logline: Julie (Schull), six months pregnant, and her boyfriend Trent (Mad Men’s Charlie Hofheimer) arrive at a tiny Cape Cod cabin for some time to relax. The town is quiet and deserted during the off season, except for Sully (James McCaffrey, who you’ll recognize from several films and The Following), the creepy guy who’s keeping an eye on the couple from a distance. And then there’s Jonathan (familiar face Hal Ozsan), Julie’s husband, who she thinks she sees across town. With the divorce still being finalized, he can’t find out that she’s on a romantic retreat with another man. What follows is a complicated twist of events as Trent gets kidnapped, Julie receives threatening messages demanding ransom, and Jonathan is asked to save the life of his wife’s lover.

Betrayed airs at 8 pm/7c tonight on Lifetime Movie Network and repeats at midnight/11c.
