Warning: Spoilers Ahead
After Fet’s horrible discovery in the sewers and the invasion of the nursing home in the last episode, the episodes where the epidemic was isolated to the plane victims are officially over. In Sunday’s episode, everything begins to spiral out of control, with vampires taking to the streets of Manhattan, chasing cars and pretty much converting New York into a big zone of mass hysteria. And with the impending eclipse, Setrakian fears that this may be a key event in the Master’s plan and that it may mark the beginning of the end.
We had complained in the last episode about how Dr. Goodweather was showing too much concern over Nora and not enough about his wife and son. Â Well apparently, he does finally snap out of it and pleads with Kelly to take Zach and flee to her mother’s home in Vermont. In the meantime, Kelly’s boyfriend Matt is back, but with the panicked look on his face in the below promo, it appears that something bad may be going down at Sears. Uh oh, Matt.
Of course, this preview would not be complete without mentioning Eichhorst (we assume the freak in the promo is Eichhorst, it has to be). And we thought we had seen the worst of this guy in the opening of episode three. Eichhorst, what are you doing, crazy waxy boy? Well, we asked the actor Richard Sammel this very question on Twitter and loved the answer we got back:
