In last Sunday’s episode, the four survivors began showing the same symptoms as their dead counterparts, and we knew it was only a matter time for the full transformation to take place. Â That time finally arrives in this week’s episode, with the full metamorphosis taking place, at least for three of them with one meeting a very gruesome end.
We also finally learn the real reasons behind Jim Kent’s (Sean Astin) involvement with the Stoneheart Group and the very creepy Eichhorst (Richard Sammel). Â But, be prepared to cry your eyes out because Jimbo’s backstory will definitely tug at your heart strings.
Episode 1.03 of The Strain is titled “Gone Smooth” and airs this Sunday at 10/9c on FX.
