The Facts of Life was a seminal series of my 70s and 80s childhood, and thanks to cable TV, it’s lived on for successive generations (although, somehow, all nine seasons are not on DVD–somebody get on that). Two of its leading ladies, Lisa Whelchel and Kim Fields, reunite onscreen for the first time in over a decade for Hallmark Channel’s For Better or For Worse, a funny, heartfelt film about friendship, love, and second chances. Antonio Cupo, who’s familiar to Hallmark viewers from In My Dreams earlier this year and last holiday season’s Hats Off to Christmas, also co-stars.

Here’s the official logline: Wendy (Whelchel) is finally settling in to single life after the death of her husband. She runs a successful wedding planning company with the help of her friend Roseanne (Fields). Wendy’Â’s business and values are challenged when Marco (Cupo), a charming but irritating divorce attorney, opens shop right next door.

We’re so excited to see these ladies together again! For Better or For Worse airs at 9/8c Saturday night on Hallmark Channel, after the season premiere of Cedar Cove. Here’s a sneak peek.
