[Warning: General spoilers in article, images, and preview.]
Cedar Cove starts its second season tomorrow and picks up right after the closing moments of the first season finale, when we were left with a cliffhanger of sorts as Shelly had an emergency in the hospital.
The premiere has Olivia and Jack, and later Grace, Peggy, and Bob, at the hospital–which opens old wounds for Olivia–as a recovered Shelly refuses to see Eric. In town, Justine and Seth are dealing with the fallout from the restaurant and a newly-freed Warren while Maryellen (welcome to the Elyse Levesque fans who’ve found the show via her stint on The Originals) has to deflect a couple of shady guys looking for John.
It’s a solid hour to begin the new season, and everybody falls back into their rhythms. It’s been nine months since the show aired, so it’s nice to see everyone again.
