Warning: Spoilers Ahead

We’ve seen the pilot and we loved it. USA Network calls this a provocative drama that explores modern marriage at its midpoint. It’s definitely provocative. But this seemingly perfect marriage – and perfect life – isn’t in good shape at all. Matt Passmore‘s Neil Truman and his wife, Stephanie Szostak‘s Grace, should be asking themselves a lot of difficult questions about the state of their marriage. But, perhaps the most important question is “What do you do when having it all is not enough?” This series starts there and delves into their surprising and unconventional choices.

“Pilot” synopsis:

Investment banker Neil Truman and his wife Grace are sifting through their stagnant relationship when Neil discovers that Grace is seeing a male escort and accidentally gains possession of the escort’s phone. He gains a unique perspective on his life and what motivates women, while Grace contemplates whether her needs are being met and whether her marriage is worth saving.

Have we mentioned how much we loved the pilot? We don’t want to give too much more away, because there are some great surprises in the episode. But what will make us come running back to watch every week is Neil and his struggle to find the right kind of balance in his marriage. “Balance” means different things to different people though and we’re completely on board for his exploration of what he needs and wants in his relationships and his life. We’re looking forward to seeing him try to find the meaning behind it all. Along the way we think he’ll come to appreciate (and hopefully participate) in his life. So this series gets a Watch Live. And, yes, it is that good.

Satisfaction premieres Thursday, July 17th 10/9c on USA Network.

Pure trash. Love story about cheating. If you need to have an affair to spice up a marriage you should not be married. Shows like this make sick
