Warning: Spoilers Ahead
You had us at Casey Wilson. The Housewives isn’t really our cup of tea (or maybe iced tea since this show is set in the South). But we’re always willing to watch a spoof of a popular TV show or movie, so we knew we’d give this a chance. After seeing the premiere episode, it’s possible that we’ll watch every episode of this series back-to-back. Along with Wilson, this ensemble shines. We laughed, we cringed, we felt uncomfortable – in the best possible way. We can’t wait to see what else these socialites-without-a-cause get up to in one of the hottest (literally, not figuratively) cities in the world: Orlando.
Series synopsis, from Hulu:
A parody of one of the most popular franchises in reality television, the Hulu Original The Hotwives of Orlando, takes you inside the uber-exclusive and glamorous world of six hot housewives livin’ large in Central Florida’s sexiest city, Orlando. The show follows a cast of ladies as they fight over pretty much everything except for their love of shoes, plastic surgery and the pursuit of spending all of their husbands’ money.
THE HOTWIVES
Dannah Phirman‘s AlliÂ
Crystal’s troublemaking friend. A wanna-be ‘hotwife,’ she’s always stirring it up, gossiping and giving bad news under the guise of “being a good friend.â€
Kristen Schaal‘s Amanda Simmons
She was a child star on local television – the Florida Prune Juice girl – until she hit puberty and they didn’t want her anymore. Now she’s looking to recapture that fame but her drug and alcohol problem make that difficult. She’s hopelessly single and always dating the wrong guy.
Angela Kinsey‘s Crystal Simmons
A gorgeous, busty bible beater with a controlling husband, TJ. She does everything in the name of God, including her breast implants. Superficial and petty, she can act ‘holier than thou,’ and is especially judgmental of her sister, Amanda.
Tymberlee Hill‘s Phe Phe (short for Phenomenon) Reed
A successful lawyer, foot model and aspiring taxidermist, among other careers. She speaks her mind, but you’re not gonna like what her mind has to say. But hey, “She’s just bein’ Phe Phe.â€
Danielle Schneider‘s Shauna Maducci
A brassy Italian-American with anger management problems. She and her husband Anthony are going broke because she’s a shopoholic. She has a lot of kids and a very tumultuous relationship with her husband made worse by her rampant jealousy and the fact that he can’t stand her.
Casey Wilson’s Tawny St. John
A gorgeous, self-obsessed trophy wife. She married a wealthy older man, Phil, that she thinks is dying. Well she hopes he is dying, anyway. She may not have a job but she keeps busy with her charity parties, music videos and fashion products like her new line of eyebrow extensions.
 Andrea Savage‘s Veronica Von Vandervon
A sexy Brit with an eye for much younger men. She is an independent businesswoman and heiress to the Hot Holes Heavy Putting mini golf fortune. She’s all about class, sex, sophistication and sex.
THEIR MEN
 Matt Besser‘s Anthony
Shauna’s husband. A tough Italian who has fallen on hard times in his “construction business†and his wife’s overspending is only making things worse. He is obnoxious to his wife but she just thinks of that as foreplay.
Joey McIntyre‘s Heath
Tawny’s live-in “trainer.†He’s a meat-head that is almost as in love with Tawny as he is with himself.
Stephen Tobolowsky‘s Phil
Tawny’s older husband. He is totally in love and a fool for Tawny. He’s in great shape for an older man, but Tawny insists he’s dying. He is completely unaware of the affair Tawny is having with her trainer, Heath, and absolutely sure that Heath is gay.
Jerry Minor‘s Rodney
Phe Phe’s husband. He has the attitude of a famous athlete but he’s really just a mascot for the team. He loves Phe Phe but has a history of cheating. And a future, too…
Seth Morris‘s TJ
Crystal’s husband. He’s a good ol’ boy who is very controlling when it comes to Crystal. He feels God made her breasts (and her implants) for him to enjoy, not anybody else. Well, except God, of course.
All 7 episodes of The Hotwives of Orlando will be available Tuesday, July 15th on Hulu.

3 Moments of Goodness from Brooklyn Nine-Nine “Johnny and Dora”
