The concept: Aliens have invaded Earth by using our most unlikely resource to achieve world domination-our children. As the kids unwittingly help these unseen enemies, the clock counts down in this suspenseful race to save humanity.
You had me at Lily Rabe. I can’t say I’ve been a loyal or consistent fan of FX’s American Horror Story, but when I do watch Lily Rabe is a standout for me. So I’m glad to see her as the lead of a show. The trailer is creepy and intriguing so I’m completely on board to see where this goes and where her character leads us.
Shallow TV Alert: Even though I had stopped watching Revenge by the time Barry Sloane was introduced, I definitely know who he is. And I hope we’ll be seeing a lot of him.
Behind-the-scenes talent: With Steven Spielberg on board as an executive producer I have high hopes that the “alien” angle of this show will live up to my (already) high expectations. I hope his influence will make things very creepy and suspenseful. I’m also really excited about EP Justin Falvey. He’s an EP on one of my favorite shows, The Americans. I hope his involvement on the show means good things are coming.
